The Strikers are currently accepting applications internships.
The internships will allow students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience within a professional soccer organization. This internship is unpaid but available to receive college credit, if applicable.
One-year interns preferred.
Must be available to work a few nights and weekends at Strikers events and must be able to work all home games.
Available to work 20-30 hours per week preferred.
Marketing Intern
The marketing department is responsible for all brand building efforts. This entails developing key fan insights and translating insights into breakthrough fan engagement efforts. These efforts may be through traditional media, new media, events, partnerships, etc. The marketing intern will gain valuable training from the Commercial Director and Marketing Manager and members of his marketing team on how to most effectively build a brand and how to effectively research a specific business challenge, develop winning strategies to address the business challenge, and qualify the proposed solutions with Strikers Fans.

The Sponsorship Operations Intern will gain experience by supporting the sponsorship department with the day-to-day operations in the areas of sales, operations, customer service and suites service. The intern will receive practical training in these areas and will also gain experience in event planning and account maintenance.

Stadium/Events/Facilities Operations Intern
The Stadium Operations Intern will assist the Stadium Manager of Fort Lauderdale Stadium and the Director of Operations of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in all aspects of facility management, focusing on event and daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Candidate must posses strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task efficiently, very detail-oriented, and great organizational skills. A great work ethic, positive attitude, customer service skills, team player and self-motivation are keys to succeeding in professional sports. Interns will be asked to work outside their job descriptions, so the ability to work well with change and unexpectedness is important.
