Strikers Tryouts Soccer

The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have announced they will be hosting their annual open tryout on the weekend of Jan. 28-29, 2012. The tryouts will be held at Fort Lauderdale Stadium where the Strikers hold their training sessions.

“You never know when you're going to find that diamond in the rough,” said Strikers head coach Daryl Shore. “It gives local players a chance to be seen, as well as players from outside the state and outside the country. This is a chance for players to come and showcase their talents, so hopefully we'll find a few players who we can invite to our camp. It's a great opportunity to be a part of the success of the Strikers organization.”

Soccer players from anywhere in the world will have their skills measured and be able to work with the Strikers' coaching staff to prove their abilities. The cost to take part in the try out is $150 per player.

The Strikers have consistently found talent in their tryouts. Since the club’s inception as Miami FC in 2006, the team has signed more than a dozen players who participated in its tryouts, including Lance Laing who was named to last season's NASL Best XI team.

Important Notes

The Strikers are not providing transportation to the combine or equipment. If you are traveling from outside South Florida you must also arrange your own accommodations.
You must come prepared for the tryouts with your own cleats, socks, gloves, shin guards or any other equipment related to your position.

Due to the limited enrollment of the event, once a player pays and is accepted into the tryouts, there are NO REFUNDS. There are no exceptions. We hold the right to refuse and/or decline any player we feel will not benefit from the tryouts.

After receiving your application and registration fee, we will contact you confirming your spot in the tryouts.

Tryout Schedule

Players will be given a unique number and assigned to a team at registration.

Team 3 vs. Team 4

Session 2 :10:30 am to 12:00 pm

Team 5 vs. Team 6
