Life long soccer leader himself on an off the soccer field Mr Reginald Pierre-Jerome will lead this key initiative of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers community out reach programs
A soccer standout since his high school days at Hollywood (FL) McArthur HA , Pierre-Jerome went on to become an All-Region performer at both Miami-Dade Community College and at Coastal Carolina (SC) University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Marketing in 1992.
Pierre-Jerome played professionally as a goalkeeper  with the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers, Miami Fusion, Miami Breakers, Charleston Battery , in addiction Reginald  was a first-round draft choice of the Dallas Sidekicks a Professional indoor soccer team.
A veteran international player, Pierre-Jerome was a member of the under-23 Haitian National team that participated in the 1991 Pan American Games and played in qualifying games with the Haitian National team for the 1991 Barcelona Olympics and the ’94 World Cup. He has also trained with the U.S. National team, Alianza Lima of the Peruvian first division and for the Paris FC of France.
Having competed on manny championship teams Reginald led the Selection Haiti team to three championships of Americas most prestige's adult tournament the Copa Latina between 1993 and 1997. Pierre-Jerome, was named Most Valuable Player of that tournament in 1997.
As a coach, Pierre-Jerome  brings many years of experience to the table  working at both the collegian as well as the club levels. Mr Pierre-Jerome worked as a coach for FIU, Barry University and Nova University. His specialty expertise as a goalkeeper trainer has made him a community favorite amounts the youth clubs throughout the South Florida area.
“Reggie is the perfect man for the job. He has come up through the ranks, not just as a soccer person, but as an educator, administrator and most importantly as a leader of young people,” said Tom Mulroy, president of the Strikers. “He is a man who can relate to every one of the kids as well as the people to whom we must reach out to help them.”
