2013: On April 1, 2013 the Strikers announced the signing of Haitian international Stéphane Guillaume. The right back returns to South Florida after a five year absence, having previously spent three seasons with Miami FC.
Guillaume missed the start of the season with an injury. He made his first appearance for the team in the Strikers first win of the season, a 2-1 victory against Minnesota United FC at Lockhart on May 11. Guillaume started the match and played 58 minutes before picking up a second yellow card. He has since cemented his place in the lineup as the first-choice right back.
Professional: Guillaume started his career in native Haiti with Aigle Noir AC in 2002. He completed a move to Major League Soccer in 2005, signing with Colorado Rapids, but was unable to play due to regulatory matters.
In 2006, Guillaume moved to side Miami FC ahead of the club’s first season in the USL First Division. He played for three seasons in Miami before leaving at the end of 2008. He played with Cleveland Cirty Stars in 2009 before returning to Haiti.
International: Guillaume has appeared 29 times for the Haiti national football team. He made his debut in 2003 and participated in the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
