Scorca Named Team Historian
officially named now as the team historian.
With the promotion of becoming the team historian, Scorca is responsible for tracking all of the players¹ stats, as well as club stats and club history. Aside from his statistical responsibility, Scorca will be contributing a weekly blog on the club site.
Scorca, 53, has been dedicated to following south Florida soccer for the past several decades from the Honduran national team to all the professional teams and even youth teams in the area. With impressive knowledge of the game and providing great insight in tracking players¹ careers, he has provided the community in the past with written blogs and columns that will help Strikers fans track their favorite team even closer now.
"Robert's unparalleled passion and knowledge of South Florida soccer history and that of Fort Lauderdale's Lockhart Stadium, the home of the Strikers make
him a natural for this position," stated NASL Communications Director Kartik Krishnaiyer, who has known Scorca for years.
Scorca begins his new role as club historian immediately.
