Winter Open Tryouts

The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have announced the 2012 Strikers Winter Tryouts taking place next month on December 1-2. The tryouts will be held at Fort Lauderdale Stadium adjacent to the Strikers home at Lockhart Stadium.
Online registration is available through the Strikers.com website. http://www.strikers.com/Tryouts.htm
“The open tryouts are an important part of our season because it gives an opportunity for players who may go unseen to prove their skills,” said Strikers head coach Daryl Shore. “We’ve found some talented players at our tryouts and given them the chance to come to our camp. It's a great opportunity to be a part of the success of the Strikers organization.”
Soccer players from all around the world will have their skills measured and be able to work with the Strikers' coaching staff to prove their abilities. The cost to take part in the Winter Tryouts is $150 per player.
The Strikers have consistently found talent in their tryouts. Since the club’s inception in 2006, the team has signed more than a dozen players who participated in its tryouts, including Lance Laing who was named to the 2011 NASL Best XI team and Mark Anderson who was named to the 2012 NASL Best XI team.
Due to high demand and limited availability, players will be asked to complete registration with payment to confirm their spot. Once all available spots have been filled, registration will be closed without notification. The last day to sign up will be on Monday, Nov. 26, based on availability. The tryouts are open to players age 18 and older.
Notes:
Players are responsible for their own transportation, allocations, meals, and materials associated with the ID Combine.
Players participation will only be confirmed once they have completed both the registration and payment.
Due to the high demand, once you have completed payment, we are not providing refunds. NO EXCEPTIONS.
