2013: Ramos returns for a second season with the Strikers after his option was picked up by the club on November 19, 2012. He switched from the number 23 jersey to number 6 in the offseason.
2012: The Fort Lauderdale Strikers announced the signing of Hosman Ramos, along with Lionel Brown and Darnell King, on March 27, 2012. Ramos joined the club’s preseason camp while participating in the Copa Latina tournament with Blue Star Honduras.
Ramos made his professional debut with the Strikers on May 26, starting and playing 65 minutes in the 1-1 draw against the Atlanta Silverbacks before being substituted for Walter Restrepo.
In his rookie season Ramos made 8 starts in 13 appearances for the Strikers.
Amateur: Ramos competed with Blue Star Honduras in the last two editions of the Copa Latina. He and Blue Star finished runner-up in 2011, and were crowned champions in 2012. Ramos signed professional terms with the Strikers shortly after his Copa Latina triumph.
College: Ramos had a brief stint in college soccer. During the 2008-2009 season he played at San Jacinto College. He also played at Mercer County Community College for one season.
Youth: In 2007, Ramos played for Miami FC Kendall U-18 in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. He spent a total of six years with Kendall Soccer Coalition, the last two with the Miami FC academy side.
