Strikers Update #16 We're back with the Strikers Update #16. Jessica Jones takes us through the week in Strikers action where the team secured a scoreless draw on the road against the Puerto Rico Islanders, Conor Shanosky was named Defensive Player of the Week and Saturday, Aug. 25 is "World Record Night". The Strikers will be giving out Free Sunglasses to the fans at Lockhart Stadium in an attempt to set the record for most people wearing sunglasses in the dark.

Strikers vs RailHawks 8/11/12 The Fort Lauderdale Strikers (8W-6T-8L), behind a goal from forward Andy Herron defeated the Carolina RailHawks (6W-7T-7L) 1-0 on Saturday at Lockhart Stadium in front of 3,549 fans. Fort Lauderdale wins the season series with two wins and two draws against Carolina.
