The Fort Lauderdale Strikers are proud to announce this season’s home match internet TV and radio deals. The broadcast packages to be handled by NASLLive.com and SoFloRadio.com commence with the season opener Saturday April 12th at historic Lockhart Stadium against Ottawa Fury FC. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm EDT.
SoFloRadio.com’s Play-by-play duties will be handled by SoFloRadio.com Sports Director Bruce Silverman of the SILVERMAN: On Sports show. SILVERMAN: On Sports airs every Monday night from 7pm – 9pm and includes a segment with players and staff from the Fort Lauderdale Strikers and the NASL in a segment called SILVERMAN: On Strikers. As a 25-year sportscast veteran, a life-long soccer enthusiast and Striker Liker, Silverman will bring great insight and a lively perspective to all of the Strikers home matches. Access to radio broadcast will be free through sofloradio.com.
This will make the second season the Strikers home matches will be broadcast on SoFloRadio.com.
The internet TV package will feature live streaming of matches as part of a monthly subscription package that will include access to all NASL games both live and archived on demand. Subscribers will also have access to additional premium video content, all for a nominal monthly fee of $4.99.
As part of the match day experience throughout the NASL season, which kicks off on April 12, fans will be able to follow along at NASL Match Center where they can enjoy comprehensive live stats and interact through social media and buy tickets and merchandise, while watching the NASL live stream.
The broadcast duties on video will be handled by Richard Schwartz a longtime veteran of the South Florida soccer scene and Kartik Krishnaiyer, the former NASL Director of Communications who is currently the Senior Writer with World Soccer Talk.com
